Rumbling Through History

HOG Central Chapter Nova Scotia is pleased to host the 19th Annual Atlantic Regional HOG Rally in 2009.

We would like to introduce you to Pier 21, a remarkable National Historic Site, and the famous 1942 WLC Harley Davidson motorcycles that rumbled through its doors, and into history.

With its unique mixture of historic landmarks and modern architecture, vibrant nightlife and scenic coastal routes, Halifax offers an exciting setting for any rally enthusiast.

The principal site of the Rally will be located in the heart of the city, minutes from the waterfront, Historic Properties, and a wide variety of pubs, restaurants, and a multitude of activities and sight seeing attractions.
The Rally will be busy with well known HOG® events, such as the Show & Shine, Bike Games, Scenic Poker Runs, Dinner & Dance and self guided tours.
A unique National Historic Site where 1.5 million immigrants, war brides, displaced people, evacuee children and Canadian military service personnel passed through its door for most of the 20th century, Pier 21 is also where the famous 1942 WLC Harley Davidson motorcycles were off-loaded after WWII, and the source of our Rally’s theme.
